THE PROCESS
See below for my 8 step process to make you look incredible.
STEP 1: BOOK A SHOOT
The first step is to book a shoot. Email me and we can arrange a shoot date. I will send you a questionnaire to find out a little about you and the style of photography you would like. We can also set up a Skype call or meeting if you would prefer that.
STEP 2: PRE-SHOOT CHAT
Once the shoot day arrives the first thing will be to have a quick chat about how the shoot will run, and how how we can make your day amazing. My goal is to make sure you are comfortable, having fun, and most importantly, that you understand that you are the most important person on this shoot.
Once you sign the model release (standard practice), we can get started!
STEP 3 : MAKEUP
If you would like to have your makeup done professionally, I can provide a makeup artist at an additional cost. Before we start shooting, my makeup artist will give you a movie star makeover. This is a really fun experience that helps take your photographs to the next level!
STEP 4 : THE SHOOT
This is where the magic happens. We setup the lighting and framing, then get you in the shot to look beautiful!
We go at your pace, so you feel comfortable. We’ll have fun and laugh and I work really hard to make you feel super confident and enjoy yourself.
We will work through some poses and different shots, but don’t worry, I will direct you and walk you through the whole thing, so you can focus having a great time. And together we will create stunning portraits!
STEP 5 : WRAP
Once we feel we’ve got amazing shots, we can call it a wrap. I will prepare the pictures for you to view on an iPad and we can go through them together, before you leave.
I often find that my clients are having so much fun they like to chat and continue enjoying the shoot while we pack up. But there is no pressure, it’s completely up to you.
STEP 6 : PHOTO RETOUCHING
I will get the pictures loaded into the computer, and I will retouch the selected pictures.
Once I have prepared the shots, I will load low resolution, watermarked (preliminary) versions to google drive, where you can view them, to confirm that you are happy with the results.
STEP 7 : FINAL PHOTOS & PAYMENT
Once you are happy with the photos, I will send you an invoice through paypal. After receiving the payment, I will provide a link to the final high resolution pictures (in JPEG format) for you to download.
Your photos will come in 2 different sizes. I will provide images that are sized at 1600px on the longest side. I recommend this size for your social media pages as it still has good quality, but loads better than the larger sized images.
I will also provide larger images that are 5000px on the longest side.
I can also create image sizes for specific social media platforms and provide consultation on different social platform requirements.
Please note that I do not provide the RAW files.
I know you’ll love the experience and the photos, but there is always room for improvement. So, I would love to follow up with you to get some feedback on your experience. I will send you a quick questionnaire to find out about your experience.
